I bought these CCW wheels (link below) from WCC but they would not honor their advertised price after two days they called and said they could not sell them for that price. But they still do have them listed on their site after a week.
I decided to buy from John and Chip much better to work with as everyone has said on the forum. No more WCC for me!
I had to call WCC customer service to get my credit card credited back.
Wait so that wheel in the link is NOT a CCW wheel correct?
I see they advertise it as a split 5 spoke and not the 505a....
And it looks like the center cap is flipped and says WCC?
I'm a little confused as to why they are advertising something that's not? At a price they won't honor?
What is their actual price on these?
Here is a thread I started a few years ago that discussed the same issue. Per my discussion with John at CCW, WCC used to rebrand their 505As because WCC was the company CCW contracted with to outsource the chrome finish. WCC did not perform the work, but contracted with another LA based company.
That relationship is no longer in place and now WCC uses a different supplier for 505A clones.
