Drifting in San Francisco.
I try to get to San Francisco a couple times a year and when I make it there I just love the streets of San Francisco and dream of being able to drift my C5 through the city. I have taken some of the streets very aggressive and love it, Below if a video of what I would love to do just once in my car, I know if I ever did my Corvette would be no more...lol
Good grief...I have so many questions I don't know where to start. How were they able to block traffic for so long and you can see by the tracks they did that more than once...and no people watching and all the concert barriers. I mean I have gone there so many times and it is always crazy there with traffic....and the insurance...good god what a video.

I am guessing for the most part it was done on a Sunday as soon as there was light. That boy can drive.
All it was missing was a green mustang,,a black Charger and a VW that got passed about 5 times!!! That DOES look like a ton of fun,to be able to tear it up in a $500k car!!
Wow!... I mean...Wow!
I'd love to try a little of that in the vette but I don't know of anywhere around here to cut loose without worrying about trashing it on a curb or getting hauled off to jail. The airborne stuff might be fun in a vette...once.
As simply amazing as that video was and entertaining, it seems like such a huge cost to society to close that much of that important of a city to do what is a relatively silly stunt (again, compared to the cost of everyone else in society there @ SF). I'm very familiar w/ SF and those are all heavy traffic areas that would be a huge burden on the people that live there , even if a weekend. I mean, it's not like this was Long Beach Grand Prix or some huge monetary building event for the city.
i like how in a lot of the scenes you can see the tons of tire marks from how many times he tried these moves to perfect them. I don't think anyone could just go out and pull some of this stuff their first try back to back. I just hope there wasn't more than one take of the scene with the guy on the segway haha.
