I was curious. We live in a small community and even though this is our first Corvette, it's about the 5th convertible we've owned. We are forever getting hit up to use our cars in the various parades they have in the community. We are always glad to lend them to the various organizations that request them as this is what living in a small town is all about.
Will the rear cowling behind the seat that covers the top when its down support the local Home coming Queen/Germanfest Royalty/Miss What ever/local War hero/Mayor?
Usually we will drape a clean rubber back rug over the boot/cowl so they don't slide off.

A number of owners here have posted that they had their Verts in a parade and had passengers sit on the tonneau cover. Haven't seen a post yet where there was any damage done.
