Default Let's see your winter mods!

Well, spring is officially here even though it doesn't seem like it for a good part of the US, especially here in the northeast. So, how about a "feel good" thread on winter mods that we all hope to enjoy very soon!?!? I'll start things off with my 2012-13 winter mod list:

1. Bezel modded for a double din by Double D Mods. My old bezel was in bad shape and Double D Mods did a great job.

before

after

2. New Optima RedTop battery and CTEK MUS 4.3 charger. Not really a mod but I feel good about it.

3. 2011 C6 GS tunnel plate with DEI tunnel shield to cut down on temps. Write up (http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c5-g...sole-heat.html)

4. RSD Snap Shifter (i.e. 2012+ C6 shifter with new box) to replace my 2008 C6 Z06 shifter and 2003 C5 Z06 shifter box.

5. New Wilwood GT48 13" front rotors. My old rotors had some hairline cracks and needed to be replaced.

Now we just need Mother Nature to cooperate very soon!

Two beautiful cars above and both tastefully modded.

I'm still waiting on a couple of my winter projects to arrive and then get installed so I'll hold off posting up pics of the rest of the projects until I get the other two things done.

I did several mods which insluded new door panels and splash guards but the one that stands out would be a TVS-2300 Magnecharger.

Its making me not having the weather to do it all but I'm workin on it! hah I can't wait any longer so I will be addressing the no start issue tomorrow. Gonna have to do a push start down the driveway to get her going.

While its at the shop I'm gonna replace the shifter with the MGW and get the Clear Corners and switchbacks in. Then off to a different shop that wont charge me to mount and balance the new wheels and tires and pull the old ones. It will be a good week!

Rebuilt my seat foam fixed the broken air bladders rocking seat fix and added new seat skins...

Also put an aux iPod jack into the stock HEADUNIT

Also took the time to do full write ups on both. Have a couple more plans to finish up while the snow still flies.
