Tach jumping
Driving my car in no specific time or temp my tach jumps 100 to 200 rpm. It happend at idle, engine sounded the same and tach normally reads 800. Stopped at a light and tach bounced to 500 with no engine sound change. Today I was driving 60ish and tach bounced from 1400 to 1200. Did it for a short time and then continued to operate fine and steady. Again no change in engine noise when it happens. It happens infrequently and no codes. 2002 six speed coupe.
