I am wondering what everyone's recommendations are for a cold air intake.
There are a few i am leaning towards, the Halltech Killer Bee and the Hurricane. Please advise.

For true cold air intake, there is really only like 3 - Honker ~$500, Vararam ~$320 and I think BPP ~$500 has one. The ones you mentioned are not true cold air intakes as they use the ambient air from engine bay. They are probably better than stock, but not as good as a true cold air intake. I had the Halltech for a while, but eventually went with Vararam. HTH.

The Vararam can be a little on the unpleasent side to install, but it's worth it as long as you take your time and try not to rush through it.

This is my personal preference and it has worked for me. I thought you might consider this. I modified the radiator shroud for cold air and bought a used Blackwing filter($100). Removed the shroud and used a sawzall to make an opening the diameter of the filter, also made a scoop and attached it to outside of the shroud and put it all back together. Took about two hours on a Saturday afternoon. Also bought a spare shroud at a swap meet for $25 in case I go with something else. Also since this picture, I installed the Ice Box cover over the filter for a more pressurized effect. Just as effective as most of the others, easy to clean, and easy to reassemble. Also very noticeable power increase. Gained 25hp on the dyno. Saved a chunk of change, too. Just sayin.

Nice DARRYLZ06! I understand what everyone is saying about CAI vs. Ambient air intake. I guess it depends on the $$$$.

I guess I should have mentioned my headers as well. There's always somebody from the "department of corrections".
