I disagree with the OP; some of the sexiest wheels around are made for Corvettes:

You know what... nevermind. Made to order is not the same as made for the C5. You have all just affirmed, none are made in 5x120.65 so you can conveniently shop on a website and hit the buy button. Which is exactly what I was talking about when I made this thread. Look at all the manufacturers sites. They are not made in the retarded bolt pattern we have. Im sure many can be customed and made to order. But you are all supporting exactly what I was saying by showing your HRE's and saying that they can be made to order. Were not all retired with a fat bank account. Id rather buy a wheel that fits the car. No chance in finding a good deal when you have them made to order.

Forgestar F14, good looking and quality wheel for a decent price.

OP try these brands:

CCW, HRE, Forgestar just to name a few.

Here is my car with 545 HRE's:

& how it sits now with CCW's:

CCW's offer quite a few options & pretty competitive pricing vs. other forged wheel companies.

I've dealt with HRE for years, they do not stock any wheels. Every wheel they build is made to order. The only way you'll find HRE's ready to go on a shelf, is if a vendor ordered x amounts of sets in a certain fitment and have them on their shelf. The other option are used ones.

all volk wheels in the united states come through mackin industries. you could check with them but i remember seeing one of our forum members actually being a volk distributor. they come in a variety of sizes and offsets as well

between this and the HRE option. if you can spend $4000 on a set of wheels you'll have as top as top notch gets in wheels

personally i like the Volk TE37 the most, especially that dark bronze on black. i would also bet heavily on the 37 being the lightest of the bling wheels by at least a few pounds

there's also one cool low cost option. TSW makes two really cool wheels in c5/c6 fitment around $1000 a set. forged too

It appears that you're upset because all of the "off the shelf" wheels you like, are made to fit the millions of ricers out there, and their 4x100 lug pattern, compared to the 3-4 hundred thousand C-5s, that use the standard since the early 50s, GM 5x4.75" pattern.

It's just one of those things, get over it. In the 70s, I searched high and low, for an 15x8.5" rim, with MINIMAL offset, to fit the GM intermediates I had back then, and still keep the tires inside the fenders, without resorting to air shocks, etc. Well, NOBODY made them, so I simply did without....

I bought these used off of the forum and had them refinished. You don't have to spend a fortune on wheels if you do it this way.

I would be very interested to know where those came from too.

So I guess we all have gay cars since they wear a gay size shoe and are retarded. Hmmmm first I have heard a corvette being gay. Guess I better sell it and go buy a subaru or heck maybe a ford. then I could go shop at wal-mart for some wheels. Sounds like someone has a champagne taste but a beer budget. And I don't mean that in a bad way, but you can't go and buy a car and then complain that it costs more to do mods(that are not needed at that but wanted) to it than it does to do the same thing to any of the 400 subaru's or fords in your neighborhood.

Don't have the money right now, put a little aside each week and don't touch it. Get any extra throw it in the pot and you'll be suprised how fast it can add up. Doesn't take long to save a few grand and then you can buy whatever you want and NOT pull into a car meet somewhere and see a bunch of others rocking the same wheels as you have on all the fords & ricers. Cost a little more to stand out from the crowd. But it's worth it in the end.

the only thing i hate about our wheels are the OE tire sizes. 295 35 18 and 265 or 75 40 17 limits me to just a couple of options when i need new tires. long story short it's either the ps2 if i pay a lot, the conti dw which is a good street tire but kind of hard, or, the nt05 which is a disaster in rain
