There seems to be a lot of opinions when it comes to brand name detailing products. I would like to know what has worked best for you, from wash to wax. Include your tire and wheel detailing too.

For my car's exterior, I take it to a local self serve car wash. I then bring it home wipe it down and I'm set. Wax wise, I use Turtle Wax Ice paste wax on the car, but have also used Adam's Butter Wax at times. For the wheels, I just wipe them down after washing the car and occasionally throw a coat of the car wax on them to keep them protected. I use Adam's V.R.T. on my tires - it's a gel and goes on easily and does not get slung all over the side of the car.
I use maguires products, it has always worked good for me. There website has good how to videos as well. I have seen adams products, they work well too!
Meguiar's if I had to choose one brand, but there are lots of good products out there for various needs. I really like the wash and wax I get at my local airport detailing shop. It is made for planes but I love it for cars. It's called Wash Wax All by Aero Cosmetics. For straight washing I like Ducora's Polywash Top Coast which is usally found at your local Harley store.
The one thing I am still looking for is the product that takes the time out of it - lol. I know that's what detailers are for but I would rather spend that money on mods!
I tend to use a plethora of different products. Meguires wash and wax, two bucket method with the grit guards. Separate buckets for wheels/tires and the body of the car. With alllllll the brushes, mits and so on. Meguires speed detailer and clay bar, Mothers Step 2 Polish. Meguires NXT 2.0 Tech Wax.
I also have a bunch of different spray waxes. From Mothers, Meguires, Zaino, and Adams. Some Zaino Speed detailer and I'm sure many others. I have some Adams products on the shelf as well.
The one thing that has stolen the show so far has been this:
Eagle One Enviro Shine Tire Gel... This is the best tire shine I have used so far. Excellent sheen, easy application and NO SLING!!

Its hard to answer that question without looking at the car. It depends on what condition your paint is in. Megs 105 and 205 are my go to for compounding most of the time and for a swirl remover and sealer/waxes I tend to go to Wolfgangs and Blackfire quite a bit. Autogeek.net has a great detailing forum as well for any detailing questions.
