Tony, read some of the posts again.......you do not need to do both door regulators. And you don't need to spend $750. And, you may just get away with a blow to the motor like I did.
Enlist the help of one of the local Corvette people and take the door panel off. It is not difficult. Try the bang the motor trick. If it works, that's fine. If not, order a regulator from www.upanddownmainstreet.com for $200 including tax and shipping, and again have a Corvette buddy help/show you how to install it.
Thanks Allred. I'm going to try the cheapest fix first - bang the motor! Then go from there. You guys are a great help. I'll let eveyone know how this turns out.
Thanks to all you guys for giving me the confidence to try to fix this myself. My wife and I decided to give it a shot today as she was tired of riding around with her window up!
So I followed the video step by step and guys, it really was pretty dang easy to get the door panel off.
I tapped the **** (it even has an X on it) a couple of times, turned to the ignition to ACC and...nothin'. No movement, just a clicking sound. The missus sez: "let me try" and I figured why not. She gave it another couple of wacks and voila: up/down/ up/down (the window!).
Tried it a bunch more times and also after every step as I put the door back together. Still working just fine! You Guys are the best!
I don't have a million $ smile but here's a $1400 one...

Thanks again!!!

Good to know you guys have my back.
Here's my first pic of the 'Vette (still with the damn pass window up!) I'll post more as soon as I get her fixed-up.

Fairly common issue with cars that sit a lot. Not surprisingly its typically the passenger window. I had it too, same fix and three years later no issues. Make sure to work that window every drive and you will keep the motor from seizing again.

Tony, congratulations on the "fix"! I'm sure both you and the "Missus" are super pleased.
Almost all the time it is the pass window from not being used as much as the driver side.
Every time I've seen one pulling the panel and cleaning the contacts etc has done the trick. Never had to change a part.
Running it up and down on a regular basis prevents the problem.
I've heard that said a lot, but I have to disagree. I put my top down every chance I get, so that passenger window is constantly going up and down. I still ran into this problem. I banged on it for a while and it worked. I pulled the panel off the door and before I could do anything, it started working again. The last time I looked under the " accordian " and the connection was broken. It happens to much for that to be the reason. Shoddy engineering in my opinion.

I don't have a million $ smile but if I could figure out how to post an image from my hard drive, I'd show you a $1400 one.
Thanks again!!!
Good for you! I still can't get used to the sound of those plastic things making that terrible noise when you pop them out. I've only broken one so far.
Good guess that I'm not real handy. Atlthough for $1400 I can become motivated!
Thanks for the link and the advice. My next step was going to be to contact some of the members in the local Corvette Club to see if anyone can help out.
I checked 3 Chevy dealers and all three service people I spoke with said that if it is the module, both need to be replaced. Something about GM made a change and the new part won't communicate with the OE module on the driver's side.
