Default Wow!

Got my car back today after having the Z06 shocks, Z51 Sways and metal end links installed. Now it drives like a REAL sports car. Guess the 14 year old shocks were shot! Goes around turns like its on rails and does not wallow anymore over little bumps. Turn in is much better too!

Wife already yelled at me as she followed me home. Said I was going over the speed limit on a twisty road. I said YEP!

Congratulations - it's like having a new car; I did the same mod except C5 zo6 bars. Now if you haven't done so already, ditch the runflats.

I have 18x19 wheels from a 2006 C6 with the OEM goodyears. They are not bad and not worn out. Probably next year I will ditch the run flats. If I spend more money on the vette this year, the Wife wont be happy.

^ Yep. I've been through the same mods. (even the c6 wheels with oem goodyears) Definitely makes a difference. It is how the car should have been set up from the start. I can't wait to ditch the runflats. I have trouble with traction (at stock power lvls). Your alignment is huge too.

I keep wondering if I should upgrade leaf springs too...

I 2nd the alignment, I did the same set up you have (tires are huge also) you will be amazed when you get an alignment just how much better it will get. Or at least in my case it was the icing on the cake.
Enjoy your new upgrades

I 3rd the alignment suggestion. I did tires and sways at the same time but did an alignment as well and that is where the real problem was. If you have any tramlining (following ruts) at all, get an alignment and kiss that problem goodbye.

She is not that type of Gal! She would be more mad at me if I did that. She is pretty "Frugal". She does like her cars though!

Oh, Frugals are the worst. I can't get my wife to spend a dime on herself. She'll try on 3 different - fill in the blank - and one's too small, one's too big, and one's juuuuuuust right.

I'll say, "So are you getting that one?"

"No, I don't need any more - fill in the blank - "

NEED! NEED! Fer cryin' out loud, can'tcha just indulge yourself once in a while??

Don't get me wrong - she's not out to make me feel guilty (I've got that down pat) it's just the way she is.

Same setup here but with 18X8.5 and 19X10 wheels with Falken non-runflats. Awesome improvement.

Congrats on the upgrade!
