I just removed the altec splash guards and replaced them with the L5 set and just thought I'd post a pic of em, the install was super easy but does require that you drill 2 holes other than very quick and simple to install and in my opinion they look much better than my other ones, especially with the direction I'm going with the car.
Yeah know what you mean Jack, and to be honest it would not be that hard or at least after installing these it's easy to see how someone could come up with a clip set up that would hold when used with these super strong double sided tapes that have came out.
Thanks for posting the pic. I was wondering what these would look like on a silver Vette -- I have an '04 Machine Silver coupe. They look great -- congrats!

Those looks good.... Did the same thing with mine, removed the altec and put L5's on (rear) from JW, world of difference..
It's possible to install the front guards with existing side skirts. You have to cut them to fit around the skirts. Not easy but after much trial and error I got them to fit pretty good.

Man, very interesting, could you snap a few pics and post them I'm very interested in seeing that.
AND thanks for the complements everyone.
I have them on my black 00. They look like they were supposed to be there. Body accessories should flow with the lines of the car and not go at a cross angle or against the natural curves. These do that easily.
I have a set of rear L5 splash guards on my navy blue coupe. I had them painted the body color and they look great (no chip yet). I'm thinking of putting the front L5 splash guards now.
