My only snag was the brake hoses, and it was my fault-I got them for a C6Z06, and they were female inverted-flare, and C5's are a female bubble-flare, so they wouldn't mate at the hard lines. Luckily, there is a local DOT-approved builder, and he made new stainless lines for me in a jiffy. (The same gent has built them for me on my last 4 caliper swaps, I don't know why I didn't start off with him on this one)
Other than that, just make sure you have adequate wheel clearance, and use new caliper attaching hardware-they are torque-to-yield bolts, and everything goes together like bread and butter.
I already have SS lines so I should be OK? Are your calipers regular C6 or C6 Z06? Or are they the same like they are on the C5?
Thanks for your input, 'Shifter!

These are the Z06, way bigger than the C5 guys, hence the extra wheel clearance necessity...I believe that the C5 hoses work, but they need to be "rounded-off" instead of square-headed at the caliper end, I believe. I used the C6 hoses as a mock-up, just added three inches on the rear hoses, and they came with round heads, which made it easier.

Looks great! I'm right behind you with mine...just had to wait for decent weather. Only thing I am worried about are the lines....painted these last fall; had to get new wheels over the winter...now I am ready.

Lowered it today as far as I could on stock bolts (it's only went down a 1/2" so far, but we'll see in a couple weeks), and then went and bedded those sweet Hawk pads some....took a few pics:
