FOB? Battery?

FOB? Battery?
I have had my vette since July 08 and I am starting to get a FOB not detected on the display. My secondary FOB works just fine. Is it time to get a new battery or do I likely have a defect? Car has 15,000 miles on it so it is not used all that often.

Yeah you need a battery alright. They sell for $2.75 at Wal-Mart. Number #CR2032. It goes inside your fob. I just had "LoJack" call me about my 'Early warning system being alerted. It's just the battery in the Lojack Fob being low. I think if you put a new battery in your Key fob you problems will disappear. Happens to me every year once I start the car from storage and drive a mile or two.
