Last year I read online about a vette meet in a Missouri town on the Mississippi river with steamboat rides. I am trying to set aside time to go to a couple of vette meets this year. Does anyone know about this?
Hannibal, Mo .... August 3rd. They have a riverboat .. either do 1 hr cruise of the evening dinner cruise. Mark Twain Corvette Club. Nice show .. have gone the last 3 yrs ..
Forecast is rain, but not sure if it will be a washout. I don't think it will be from what I can tell.
I'll be leaving after work tonight and staying tonight Friday and then coming home after the show.
My back has been giving me fits the last two weeks so I cleaned my car as best I could. It's not a show car anyway I just go to see other peoples cars mainly.
See you all there. I'll be in the TR FRC with bad and paint wagon wheels with the wagon wheel makeover kit.
What route would you all take from the west? I'm in KC but if it's not an interstate I typically like to be familiar with the roads as I don't have a lot of clearance ya know?
Argh!! I'll be in Moberly, which is only about 11/2 hours away, but my Mother's 76th birthday trumps a car show, even a Corvette show.
As for directions, last time I took I-70 from KC to Columbia, north on 63 (all four lane) and east on Hwy 24. Hwy 24 is almost all two lane, but in nice shape.

Hey Rick thanks a ton for the route! Have a safe trip to visit with your mother and I hope she has a ton more!
If I'd hadn't been lazy these past few months and got my clutch fixed, I'd go. I'm in the Jefferson city area so the drive isn't bad. Oddly enough I'm heading up to that area to look at a giant hole in the ground next week.

My wagon wheeled FRC took first place in C5 Coupe Stock. Started to leave when they started the awards but decided to stay and support the winners.
With all the nice C5's there I don't get it, but I'll take it. Probably be my only win.
I'll probably be the Al Bundy of C5 Gen. Like he once played HS football, I once won a first place.

Congratulations Mike!
Your car looked great
It turned out to be a great day even though they predicted rain. It was a lot of fun.
There were a lot of cars for a Corvette only show. I can't post all of the nice ones so I'm sorry if I left yours out, but here are a few pictures from the show.
A picture looking north from about the middle of the street.
A picture looking south from about the middle of the street.
I came over from central IL with a couple of others from the Rolling Prairie club.
