your garage looks great.

Can you lift the lift to the height of your choice or do have to take it all the way up? I'm not knocking your lift but unless you can lift it only to your desired height I don't see how it would be very comfortable working under it. You can't slide a creeper through it and if it's all the way up a you can't stand up and work on the car.

Maybe I'm not understanding it. But in any case your garage looks great.

Easy frame lifting on padded runways. Great for wheel and brake work, tire and wheel changing as well as new car preparation. Maximum lifting height of 38" and 6,000 lb. lifting capacity.
OK, I see if this is the main use it would be fantstic. And actually that's what most of do so yes, it would be a great addition for most of us. Congrats.

Correct! It allows 95% of what I have the ability to do the the car. It's a scissor lift, so most of those do not allow standing under the car. I am restricted by the height of my garage ceiling. I can do brakes, exhaust work, tire changes/rotations, suspension work, oil changes etc... I have a seat creeper which allows me to roll under the car in the sitting position (I'm 5'8) & do the oil change mentioned above. It is also open in the middle vs. other scissor lifts that are not, so I can even drain the tranny etc... You can basically set it at any height & has 4 positions it locks in.

Based on my ceiling height limitations I did a lot of research to get the best for my particular garage vs. my planned use.

Thanks!

Going to the link you posted for the lift, it asks if you have a forklift at the delivery location. Did you have one or if not, what was their options for delivery to you - will they arrange for a truck with a forklift to deliver the lift? Also, what was the cost of delivery - it weighs 1100 lbs. ?

Thanks for the info.

No forklift for me. I paid extra for a truck with a lift gate. The truck driver has/had a pallet jack on the truck. He basically laid it down on my garage floor. I had the area that I was going to set it at empty & ready to go. The box is completely flat. It comes on a steel pallet, so it is well supported. I'll PM you with my number for more details.
