Used C5 - need help with purchase

Actually, I am going to be buying a C7, but I'll wait until they've been out a few years and find someone who has to get out of one. I'll be retired by then and looking to find a deal. Until then, I'll keep babying my C5 and enjoying it.
But my point was that I can't be the only one whose had a minor accident and the car has been well repaired....but that accident will show up on Carfax and anyone with that sort of car will have to take a few bucks less. Back when the accident happened, I got a check from the insurance company for "diminished value". I liked the money then, but I won't like it when I go to sell her.
So like any other sort of car deal, patience, patience, patience. The right deal will come along.
