Highbeam problem

Highbeam problem
Hi, my HB lights will not come on when I push the lever towards the front but they do come on when I pull on the lever when passing on the road...Any ideas? I have a 2000 C5 coupe.

The law states no more than 4 lights are allowed on at a given time...if you have parking lights, they normally will go off to allow the HBs to light up. so, perhaps something is messed up in your wiring. Try the parking light function...see if they go off when you click on the brights...let us know what happens.

Thats the problem, they dont work...they used to work. Now they will simply not turn on when push the lever foward buuut they work when i flick the lever back (passing lights). No clue... Could be a bad contact on te lever... No clue.
