While I was cleaning around the vararam up front, a snake runs over my boot! All I saw was the tail end slither under the right front corner and disappear under the car. Of course I sprang up so fast and must have looked like that guy on "Jaws" when he says "we need a bigger boat". I went to the otherside of shop and turned around to see where it was. I saw it run under my shop cabinets and then no more snake. I looked and looked, poked around and used a spot light to see under and behind the crap in my shelves. I couldn't find the dang snake!!!!!
This is the second snake to scare the crap out of me and disappear!
This thing came into my guitar factory a couple of years ago and parked itself over the front door. Extremely aggressive snake. Thought that it was a Texas Rat Snake, but the cops came out and said that it might be a Water Moccasin. Very poisonous if so. I hate snakes just like Indiana Jones so you can imagine how this went. I had to be a puss and let the cops wrangle him up. It was fast and elusive but they got it.
Having one slither across your feet would freak one out so much that it is a wonder that you didn't shoot up through the ceiling.

Last year I had a snake on the patio. Swept it out to the driveway and realized the garage door was up. Ran through the house to the garage to close the door and saw the snake come into the garage at the corner and slide behind my work bench. I think it went behind the beer fridge and did not see it again. Freaked me out for a couple af weeks. Would hate to see slide over my feet.
