I am not a sales man but I have had this service for 6 years. I have faxed them legal documents to look over, got their help when my father passed away, taken care of some tickets (Between Me, wife and 4 teenage drivers I'd say 5-7 of them) and they will prepare and matain / make changes to my will. I can call anytime with any legal question and get a call back within a 24 hour period (usually 1-2 hours). all for no "extra" cost other than the $17 a month.

I got pulled over on the way to dinner with Mrs. WKMCD. I saw the county LEO do a U-turn and chased me down. High speed chase in my little town. Speeds reached almost 25MPH.

Apparently I was profiled for not running a front tag. A quick check by him and a promise to put the front tag on by me and we were on our way...

No! The real reason is that they would have the entire Corvette Forum on them for ticketing Mr. Bill! You get an automatic pass. Tell them I said so.

I had one of those anual services . I keep AAA premium and two full heath plans ++++. The first time i called the lwyer for a imagration issue. They qouted 5 grand to start. I did it myself in 90 days. Green card in 90!! The mensa reference ? You are smart enough without a lawyer . Do what they do. Get in front of the judge and request continuances for 6 months. Then ask for detailed equipment report. I E , speedomiter cal. , Radar cal.. DID HE HAVE A FULL UNIFORM AND NO DEFECTIVE EQUIPMENT? I have seen no hat on through a case. Or hire the best most exsensive lawyer in town, 500 retainer plusc1000-1500 more. He plays golf or feeds the judge weekly. First check local laws, most counties have a school with double fine. On line coarses or on site. They do not want you in court defending yourself.

These posts are total bs. You have a bunch of guys and gals out there working a job and doing things that the majority of people don't have the stomach to do. They go to work every day fully knowing that 90% of the people they deal with are having one of the worst days of their life. They are the ones out there day and night fighting against the *** clowns trying to rob you, kill you, crash into you and pretty much wreck your day. They sign the line agreeing to be shot at or stabbed or ran over to keep your ungrateful asses safe. They are the ones first on the scene providing first aid and life saving rescues to people who would other wise have no chance. Are there bad cops? Yep. Are there more good cops than bad? Absolutely. If you think that only stupid people become cops you are probably correct. They are dumb enough to work in one of the most thankless professions out there.

So here is some advice for you. Next time you get caught driving like and *** clown maybe you can thank that officer for his service because he is the same officer that would be trying to pull you from your burning corvette or he may be the one holding your hand while you take your last breath because you just smashed into a semi. And maybe if your nice and respectful you might get a warning.

I should have been a fireman, everybody loves firemen.

Wheres the respect for the truck drivers, construction workers, farmers, steel workers, electricians, loggers, etc. These people do just as much for humanity if not more than cops do, and their jobs are more dangerous. Cops act like they have the most dangerous job in the world, and they don't. Not by a long shot. You don't see the guys in these other professions preaching about how dangerous their job is. They just do it, and they aren't butt hurt if the whole world doesn't acknowledge it.

I have plenty of respect for those people. But how often are people posting bs on a forum talking about those ******* loggers ruining there day. Nobody says that a cops job is the most dangerous. All I said is that cops get no respect for what they do.

Oh yeah and of all the professions that you mentioned the job is dangerous because it has a higher probability of accidental death. Give me an example of jobs where workers get murdered because of the job they do. People kill police because the uniform they wear. All the other jobs mentioned are because of an accident or negligence. If you're ever being assaulted or robbed or worse I bet you are hoping the police come to help you and not a logger, electrician, truck driver, steel worker etc...

All I am trying to say is you should thank the people who run towards gun fire and not away from it when the **** hits the fan. I thank all law enforcement and military for their service when I see them. You know how happy it makes a member of the military or Police or firefighter when you walk over and shake their hand and thank them for the job they do. Maybe it's a Midwest thing. Sometimes I just can't relate to the big city and coast livin'

Loc relax, it's not directed at you or any fair and honest LEO. People expect proffesional behavior from our law enforcement officers, and 99.9% of the time thats what they get, even when "they" haven't treated the officer with any respect. But people don't take note of expected behavior. It's the unexpected, unproffesional behavior of the 0.01% of LEO's that gets the attention. Those are the ones people remember and comment on.

When I was stationed in Jax I was pulled over on my motorcycle for speeding. I was talking to the Officer for about 10 minutes, he'd put his ticket book up and we were just having a conversation. Another Police Officer pulls up and hear's me talking to the 1st Officer ( I address all Officers as Sir) the 2nd officer states to me " I'm glad to see you respect your superiors" BOY!!! did that set me off!! I asked him what made him think he was superior to me! I Had been in the Military 8 years at that time. I told him I didn't think he was superior to me in any way. Maybe,,, in hindsight it was just a bad choice of words on his part,, maybe he meant he was glad I had respect for law enforcement, which I do. Had he worded it that way I wouldn't have had any problem with it. But that attitude of superiority does not sit well with me. Oh,, and as this was going on the other Officer got his ticket book out again and wrote me a ticket.

Oh,, I also spent about 6 of my 21 years in the military as Base and ships Master at Arms. The Navy's version of police officers.

All I said is that cops get no respect for what they do.
Sorry but respect is something you earn, not something you put on like underwear. A peace officer has a job, and as any job he is well aware of what it is before he take it on. Also a hero is someone that does an act of valor outside of something that is expected from him or something he swears to do, as it is there are to many professional hero's out there. People will have opinions (even me ), and if you allow it get to you and affect the way you do your job it's time to change. Many people post about great experience they had with dealing with leo's, so it's not all negative. What most are complaining about is abusive behavior and tactics toward them. There is a lot of corruption out there and if it happens that you are the victim it does not feel good. Only recourse is to complain about it or lawyer up and fight it. One thing I can tell is that if every cop out there had to pay for his own legal council like the rest of the population there would be much less abuse from few bad apples out there.

I don't get it. It must be a generational thing. I was brought up to respect people in uniform.

I will bow out peacefully and we can agree to disagree.

It is not the uniformed officers at fault,
He clocks in and just hopes to clock out. In my town a 24 ticket per shift was verbaly implimented.when asked how? "Write 3 per stop." Meanwhile my properties get broke in 4 times in one year. Insurance companies just say no. Taxes go up services go down and the county is broke.
The intent of law enforcement and public saty in general. All has been high jacked just like the prison system, lobyest, bean counters and folks that thing playing the stock market with the sole intention of taking money out of the middle clas perverbial ***. I spent two years battling city hall just to get the state of Alabama to put life guards at the coat beach. 2012 had 37 lives saved. We all need to do is stop those that to take the profit from the American citizen threw clever trickery . Most of us bust ***** daily.

All those who were just bad mouthing cops, Vette gets stolen, find with it yourself. Vette gets hit in a parking lot or keyed by someone, repaint it and sTFU. Get ripped off by a mechanic, too F-ing bad. Get your money back on your own.

I will keep an eye on your future posts to see if you dare call the cops for any reason ever. AT that time I will point out your cowardly hypocrisy.
