I put new Mich. tires on my 2004 and now the easy handeling light keeps coming on at various times and it feels like the brakes are applied. It goes away and returns at a later time. I took it to a front end shop and they found nothing. Any help would be great. Also took it back to where I had tires put on and nothing was found. Thanks, john Is there something that maybe needs resetting?

You have to remember that the stock tires are different from the front to rear by about .50 to .75 and you need this or you will get traction control issues.
As asked before what size are your tires front and rear?
Mr.Bill
Yeah, as others have posted; you need to have a larger tire diameter in the rear than in the front; that is why the computer is tripping and thinking you are spinning the rear tires.

Please post up just what size your front/rear tires are. For example, stock sizes are 245/45-17 front and 275/40-18 rear. With this setup, you have a 1" overall diameter difference front to rear. The acceptable range for the difference can be .5" to 1.5" - if you are less or more than that, your tires are the wrong sizes.

For some reason the OP doesn't want to give us the info, A number of members have asked for tire size and he won't post them, We need that info to help you.

I'm noticing recently, that there seem to be a lot of newer people here, and that's cool...more people in the Corvette community. What scares me, however, is some of the questions they ask are either VERY basic, things that are "common sense" to a car enthusiast, or lack the basic information needed, for the people here to make a proper reply.
Eventually, the replies get humorous and/or a little sarcastic (it IS the CF, after all...), then the OP finally gets back to the topic, and is upset because he/she feels people are making fun of them. For some reason, in this "computer age", people have forgotten how to "communicate", in other words, ask a proper question....or maybe it's just me.
They've also forgotten how to use google/search engines rather than simply logon somewhere and ask a question that's probably been asked (and answered) a million times prior. <no shot at the OP, simply a general observation>

This seems to be a growing problem in society in general, there is a grain of truth in the movie "Idiocracy".

sorry about that, I thought all stock tires were the same size.
