Default More questions from New guy

I will be asking a lot of things for help.

My soft top Plastic window is starting to come off the frame. What type of quick fixes are there?

Had the Vette on the German Autobahn and she wont go over 150MPH why is that. It has a Auto transmission ans is mostly stock.

What is the best intake and chip to get for her.
For the intake I am looking at this one Corvette C5 VaraRam RamAir Intake System 97-04 & Z06 VR-B2

What do you guys think.

Not sure what to do about the top.
C5 Corvettes don't have a chip, You get the computer tuned and that might take care of your 150 max issue, I have a tune and I have had my C5 auto to 160 with no issues on the track.
I like the HallTech intake, It has served me well.

I have a coupe with a plastic clear top over the seats. It is mounted on a frame and is removable.

Still not sure what you are referring to. A pic would really help in this case.

For an intake, there are a number of good ones on the market: Vararam, Blackwing, Callaway Honker, etc. The Vararam is generally considered the one that will give the best performance increase, but it is the most difficult to install.

No clue why your car won't go over 150 mph - a stock coupe should be able to get into the 170s in stock form.
