wheel questions
Thinking my wheels may be too heavy on my car.
I have 18x8.5 and 19x10.
So I'm thinking is it possible to buy 17s and just move the 18s to the rear? Or are they not wide enough?
I'm using this as a drag car by the way

8.5 seems very narrow for the dragsrtip. The rear stock wheels are 9.5 with the Z06 being 10.5, at least for 2001. With that said, you need to determine what size/make tire you want to run and see what rim sizes the manufacturer has designed the tires to fit. My C5 is the only car I have that has not been to the dragstrip. I plan to change that this Fall.

If you want better times on the track ditch the black wheels and get some nice Forged 3 piece polished aluminum.
