I have a cowl cover on a 2001 Z06 that looks a little old maybe to much sun anyone have any ideas on how to make it look new again or should i just buy a nice used one.

I actually used a product by Mothers called "Back to Black". It took quite a few applications, but the end result was like new even when it was horrifically faded before. I wish I had taken pics to prove it, but I guess you'll just have to take my word But if for some crazy reason it doesn't work as well for you and/or you like the CF look more, definitely go with Jame's! He's an awesome guy
I just chopped up an old pic and took a quick one in the garage just as an idea. They really don't do it justice, as I was astonished how well it worked. I am usually skeptical of these gimmick applications, but it worked like a charm and even stayed on the wiper covers!

You can take it off and scuff it up and spray paint it black. I did this and it looked good as new and lasted about a year before I had to do it again. I finally broke down this year and bought a hydro carbon one from pat.
