What brand/kind are you using???
I had a pair years ago that I thought were great. Got my 70 GTO up in the air, went in the house to grab something, and came back to the garage to find the GTO sitting crooked. One ramp had collapsed.
The ones I had looked like these, only without the support across the bottom.
I haven't had a pair since!
Thanks!

I use Rhino Ramps, They are priced right and work great, I even use them for our Tahoe and no issues.
The old metal ones are just that. old.

Sort of another part of this question, and I'm sorry if I'm hi-jacking the thread, but how do you keep the ramps from slipping along the floor? I've tried a few different ones and all have had the same problem with sliding along the floor.

If you aren't lowered you should be ok, Mine is lowered and all I have to do in put a 12x12 x2 in front of the ramps and then drive right up.

I have a set of metal, two piece ramps that I have had for years. I think Ecklers used to sell them. About four feet long overall. First stage lifts part way, second stage completes lift. Once up you can remove the first stage to gain access under the side of the vehicle. You need to have a rough surface such as a concrete driveway to drive on them or they will push/slip.
