Hey,
I had several tabs broken on my 2000 C5 when the clutch was changed and received my new console I ordered but the color looks like a dark grey and doesn't match the rest of the interior. The online GM parts guy checked my order and the radio bezel and temp trim piece both said they were black. He also said that all the parts come from a GM wharehouse somewhere in L.A. My question is has anyone else experienced this? I'm already in $250 dollars and not sure if i send it back (S/H on me) that I'll get a the correct black piece. I'm told I can get the new piece dyed or painted but I"m sure that adds another $100 or more. Please help!
The one in my car is more grey than black as well, and has fitting issues(not reaching all the way over on the passenger side) hopefully once I pull the trigger on getting it modified by Dennis, I'll be able to have the correct fitting and the double din I've been wanting
