Well, I finally, got my car in to Mingo, here in Houston, and everyone this guy does great work, I had the crap old tint removed and everything redone, along with wrapping the lower facia on the back and mirrors, and had all the rear tail and marker lights tinted. The pics do not do justice to the job he did, I highly recommend this guy.
Looks great. If I couldn't have gotten mine done locally I was planning on heading to see him.
I had mine done just under 2 years ago at a supposed to be reputable shop, it looked pretty bad and was getting worse, I was really glad to have it finally done right, it was always bugging me, what I respected about him was he won't even attempt to do the tint unless its sunny, he told me this was due to the rear dots.
Definitely worth the drive in my opinion

I understand that. I was a little worried about mine as it was done on a day with temps, when he started around 50'ish and high was around 60. I told him I was skeptical about it laying down good around the dots. He assured me that if the tint was shrunk correctly it would lay down over time. He was right. Layed down almost perfectly. Two very small spots that show and you have to be looking for them. They may still lay down. I have to go back to have my windshield done so I will have him take a look at the back glass. I had watched a youtube video of the back glass on the coupe being shrunk correctly. He did it in exactly the same steps and order of the video. Apparently there just isn't more than one way to do it right.
Glad you got a good job also. Read the many horror stories on here. I picked my guys brain good and watched the whole time. It seems that most of the bad jobs are either rushed or they just don't know what they are doing. My guy said that the doors are harder than the back glass as far as shrinking properly.
Looks great! Tint should be on everyone's to-do list. Completely changes the attitde of the car.
Agree. Unless of course it is a vert. In my case the windows are rarely ever seen. I have a great looking tint on my car but if the top has to be up then the car stays in the garage for the most part. I don't think I even have a photo of my windows but it reminds me to take one this weekend!
