Default Parts on back order

I am new to forum and finale was able to but first corvette,1999 Red Convertible. Started buying after market part as soon as got it home. Used places like West Coast corvette, East coast corvette and some others. Seems like every thing is on back order and if you use the web you have paid for it before you know. wondering if this is common are dealing with wrong suppliers. PS have not got pic master be will.

I usually will call the vendor and confirm whether or not they have the parts I need in stock and if not, when they expect them to be available. You can still order on line, but at least you'd know about their availability. And you're not using the wrong vendors - all those are pretty good from my experiences.
