The have manufacture plates on them. He is with the Corvette program and pretty high in the organization I think. Waiting for a nice Saturday to visit and view up close including the interior. Saw them at the Detroit Auto Show, but of course locked up, no sit and no view inside.

I watched the American Le Mans racing series on TV last Saturday, and they were racing on the streets of Long Beach, just a couple of hours north of San Diego. On display there was a grey C7 Corvette, which was shown in some detail during the race. Perhaps this car made a trip down to San Diego and that is what your friend saw?
