Default seat track electricity problem

hi there
the seat track is really bugging me off
it goes forward and squeezes me to the steering wheel by it self

and when i try to push the buttons to make it go back it doesnt work

all the buttons doesnt work except the memory

so whenever it goes forward i press the memory button so the seat goes back where i saved it before

this problem started to happen to me about 2 months ago

when i wash the car it usually happens

i think the problem is that water drips on the seat track module

so i made a search and found a thread about soldering the seat track module is going to fix the problem

but there is another problem
i dont know anything about soldering

and even if i know will that fix all these problems:

seat moves by it self

seat buttons doesnt work (problem with electricity and not the track it self)

i have seen some videos about soldering but still nervous to do it

now i have already bought the seat track repair and soldering iron kit

so im planning on doing both fixes at the same time so i dont have to remove the seat from the car twice

so if someone has done the seat track electricity problem and have some pics maybe video can u please share them

thanks

Just had a similar issue, water leaked in and on the drivers seat, got into the seat switch and it went screwy. I removed the switch and dried it out and regained some function, but have ordered a new switch.
