C5 Section Forum Idea
I've been contemplating on this idea for a while so why not just shoot it out there. Let's see what other forum members think and if the moderators would allow it. Here goes....
Wouldn't it be pretty cool to have C5 COTM (Car Of The Month) based on forum members votes? Every month there could be a thread nominating members cars and the top 5 most nominated could be contesting for COTM through a poll thread. Of course there would be a time limit to closing voting and TBA rules we could make up. If it were to attract more attention around the corvette forum itself, maybe this could be done for every section C1,C2,C3,C4 so on and so forth. The winner could have their car featured on the front home page on the corvette forum as COTM for that designated month. Maybe a vendor every month could give away a lil something for the winner. Just a thinking out loud here. I would think it be a cool thread to see some nice corvettes and watch some of the best cars on the forum go head to head.

My suggestion would be that each month have some type of "theme" this way it cuts down on the number of cars that submit for it during the month but over time everyone gets the opportunity to enter. One month could be cars that are red, another month could feature cars with aftermarket wheels, a month of custom interiors, a month of cars setup for drag racing, a month if cars setup for road courses.... Etc...

The only issue I see with that is there are 2 vendors on here that already do that here on the Corvette Forum, Double D Mods and PFYC.

So what as the details start getting clearer, what can we do to move forward with this and make it happen? Even if there is no prize it still would be cool to have the winning car featured as COTM.
