Welcome to the COTM nomination thread. A few members and myself thought it would be a great idea to see some of the nicest cars go head to head for the title of COTM. This is new and will take some time to transform into something regular every month. The way it works is registered forum members will nominate designated C5’S based on that month's theme (Z06, VERTS, COUPES, BEST WHEEL COMBO, NICEST ENGINE BAY, BEST UNIQUE PAINT) so on and so forth. We will leave the nomination open for 5 days and count up the nomination votes to choose 3 corvettes with the most nominations after the 5th day. Please only nominate active members' cars and not someone who hasn't been active for a while. You may nominate yourself if your car abides by the theme. Afterwards we will open a poll thread with the top 3 nominated cars picture and let the forum decide which car takes the crown for COTM. The poll thread will also remain open for 5 days to make sure everyone has a chance to vote. Picture rules for top 3 nominated are as follows: 1 car per picture, the picture must be of good quality, no special effects done to the pictures, and simply abide by the months theme. Moderators have approved that the winning member will have their car featured on the home page of the Corvette Forum as COTM for that month and will also have their avatar edited under their forum name to incorporate title for that month, ex. (Month 2013 COTM). Hopefully as this gains popularity, other incentives can be added in place for the COTM winner.

Enough of the chit- chat. The theme for May's COTM will be C5 Coupe Corvettes. The Nominations start today 4/29/13 and will end 5/3/13. Go!

OK, thanks for the nomination.... I'll try to show some pics and info.

1998 Coupe MN6 , I did 99.9% of the work I learned as I went along. I built the engine(500ish) and reworked the interior and exterior. Upgraded to C6 Z suspension and clutch stuff. Not done yet, but it's almost complete.

Here goes.....

 

I would nominate my new C5 but there is no way to compete on the level of Mr. Bill and Rick , I second the nomination for Mr. Bill!

 

Maybe do a stock or lightly moddified car sometime. I do like both ,It will be hard to choose. I say pick a number between 1 and 10 the closest wins

 

I know I don't stand a chance against Bill, ZFLASH or Rick but why not. Always have next month when I should be getting new wheels

 

I'm proud to nominate jptgs1 beautiful, like new, 2002 Millenium Yellow coupe for COTM. Vettes like this are becoming more rare all the time. This is a special coupe for jptgs1 to make his own, however he sees fit.

 

3 days left of nomination, let's get those votes in.

 

I will wait till mine is a little nicer before i try to compete, but i do think that a slightly modified month would be cool, zflash has my vote, love the overall look.
