I have the Corsa Pace Cars on my 03 now and wanted opinions on if its worth changing to the Extreme ? I want something more aggressive but not something that will be much louder when cruising. Should I keep the Pace Cars and get a x pipe and possibly headers ? Or sells the pace cars and go with the extremes ? I can't make up my mind but everyone who has the extremes loves the sound
Thanks.

While it may be a challenge, your best bet is to find someone that has that exhaust on their car and see if they will take you for a ride to see if you like the sound. Everyone has a different opinion on what sounds good. A local car event that has a number of Corvettes might be a good place to start. Good luck - I have the Pace Cars on mine and love the sound - wouldn't want to get any louder but that's just me.
i have corsa extremes on my car.. i love the way they sound. there is no drone... if you are thinking of headers... these extremes are well, extremely loud. i did a swap with member aobrien, who just got headers, for stock ti's and we're both happy.... at WOT they are thunderous. deceleration has a nice burble and when cruising, pretty quiet.
Keep the Pace Cars, and get a good header system. That way, you'll be improving both the sound, and the performance. I don't know about your compliance variables, but HF cats are part of most aftermarket systems, and it you choose to run w/o cats, it'll be louder.
Thats what I am going to do. Headers, x pipe and no cats.
If you like it loud, without being bothersome at cruising speed; That's your setup. Mine are actually too loud for my tastes, with cats, but I wouldn't be happier to have them too quiet. Err on the side of noisy.
I this you're right about Arizona; they have some Draconian, or should I say Californian regulations, and only 91 oct gas, IIRC.
