Hid light issue

I have had my hid lights for 3 years. I have a resistor already installed. When I turn on my lights the driver side won't go up but the light is on. Ok I turn off the lights open the hood and just touch the manual ****, don't even need to turn it. Then I turn on the light and it works fine. I can turn the lights on and off they come up and down with no issue. But every time I turn them on for the first time same issue the driver side doesn't come up.
Any ideas on a fix?

Try turning them on and off with the high beams on. If they work OK, then the problem should be solved with the resister install.

However,, It does sound like a motor problem though.

Looks like it was those little bumpers that were worn out. I fixed a couple of them up and them seem to be working now, or at least this weekend all was good
