My 99' is going in tomorrow for a steady creak that goes on when you go over bumps. The car has 26K miles. When I push down on the front end on the side where the shock is, it groans, but the shock seems to work fine. Is there simply lube zirc's or a bushing that may have gone bad for the front end? I'm just wonderwing what I may be looking at. There are no shakes or vibration when driving just the squeaking from the front end when you go over bumps. Ideas?
Thanks in advance,
Aaron
your bushings are dry like others said. i suggest you wrap the bar where the bushing sits in teflon tape. its cleaner and no greasy mess and you wont ever have to worry about it again. while your add it upgrade the bars to some c6z51 bars.
