Default New tires

Wow just installed Michelen's on 2003 roadster. Car has only 11000 miles but the Goodyear's were 10 years old. Got the Pilot Sports +ZP ( runflats ), what a difference. I think these are the best replacement tires for this car and the way I drive it. Did research on this forum and took suggestions from other owners. Can't believe the difference. Just my 2 cents.

Agree . . .went from 8 year old Nitto 555's the the Michelin runflats but also added new Bilstein shocks . . . defnitely a big difference !

I am going to do the same thing for the same reason-old tires. I have a 01 with 11k and it still have the original GoodYear EMTs. And I also have the Michelins picked out as the likely choice.

Your post made my decision that much easier!

Did you also replace the TPMS sensors in the tires? They only usually last 10 years or so before the batteries have issues.

I like 'em. I think if they had these runflats to put on the c5's originally, the runflats as a whole wouldn't have gotten such a bad reputation.

Good choice in tires. They are definitely much better than the OEM Goodyears.
