No reverse - please help
My car was in storage and i had to charge my battery to start it. When I finally started it my car would not go in the gear for reverse. It will go through all the other gears but reverse. I cannot place the car in reverse. I have a someone telling me that the transmission reverse gear is out. Please help. Thanks. 2002

It could be a number of things, shifting linkage needs adjustment, that lockout solenoid to prevent going into reverse at speed, or usually that means the shifting fork for reverse has lost the plastic tips and it won't engage or at best if it does, it pops back out. It'll be good once again after the repairs!!!
