I could be wrong but it could have been ordered with the stripes deleted by someone or the dealer could have removed them at the buyers request, thought i seen a thread a couple years ago in reguards to this but again i could be wrong

Several owners have removed the stripes from their Z16...it's called a "naked Z16". I was able to pick up a spare set of stripes for mine, safely tucked away.

I'm not sure that is correct...may be wrong...certainly been wrong before but - the RPO Z16 included a carbon fiber hood, polished Z06 wheels, special CE emblems and the stripes - so, you could not check an RPO Z16 box and get these options on ALL 2004 Corvettes. Other than those options, A Z16 is like any other 2004 Z06. The CE emblems were used on CE Coupes and Verts. All 2004 CE cars were Lemans Blue.

You are 100% Correct!! You can't order the Z16 pkg for any other Vette, Its just for the 04 Z06 Commorative Edition,,,

They aren't available anymore, and any old spare sets are dried out.
I read a post where a guy rebuilt his Z16 plus new paint with stripes. He ended up putting four sets on cause they were all wrinkling on the outer edges. I'll see if I can find the post.

Thanks everyone! I just purchased an '04 Commemorative Edition without the stripes. I contacted the owner who had traded it in and he stated he ordered it without the stripes. I personally like it better without. At first, I thought someone had swapped the badges. Thanks again! I'll post a picture soon!
