I had a busy weekend so far, here's a couple of some before and after pictures of the new look for the rear end of my car. Plasti dipping the curves on the tail lights was no joke. The lines didn't come out very fine but from a distance you can't really notice. I'm sure there's a few people who don't like the look, but i thought it looks pretty cool. The halo LED tail lights install went very smoothly (thanks JW! ). Smoking out my reverse lights was also somewhat easy. The only downside is now a lot of dust starts collection in the new black areas. The new license plate frame and black Corvette lettering really goes well with the red and black theme. I also went ahead and touched up the plasti dip on my rear fascia. Check it out.
Interesting look! The PDs gotta be a PITA, I know how bad the dust shows on EB, let alone black.
It's awful.

Close enough would have been good for me too at that rate. It's nice though because if you ever have an afternoon with nothing to do you can always give it another shot..... or 3

Not a fan of smoking out the reverse lights (mainly because I'm not sure how visible they are now with the black on them - looks like they would not put out any light), but the rest of the changes look good.

I thought the same as well. After installing some LED reverse bulbs it's as bright as can be. Even with the lights smoked as dark as that.
