Default Caution - Watch your fingers.

Upper radiator support.
First I painted the original to a nice red colour. Then painted the Caution Fan letters just like everyone else does. Now I ground the Caution Fan letters off to make smooth. Painted with some high heat engine black paint. Did not like that so wrapped in carbon fiber vinyl.
To finish it off I got an old style Caution Fan decal from the 70's.
I like the way it turned out.

Nice work...but do really need a decal to remind you not to stick your fingers in the fan ?

Seriously- looks great!

Actually it is from a jeep. The Chevy ones have a slight arc and would not work as well.

Looks good , it looks like you wrapped your fuse box as well. I was thinking of doing the same thing how does the vinyl wrap hold up with engine heat i'm guessing its 3M di-nox

I just finished it up over the weekend. I took the car to work today and plan on driving it the rest of the week. I will let you know how it holds up.

I bought the plenum cover from a fellow forum member. He had it engraved with the 50th logo. He moved on to a C6 and sold all the custom parts.

Hello All,
Vinyl wrap is holding up fantastic. It was warm here today and heavy traffic on the drive home. Coolant Temperature went as high as 215. Popped the hood as soon as I got home and everything looked great. I will check in again at weeks end and let you know if any change.

No problems with the engine temp and vinyl. I have more things to cover knowing it will stand up to the heat.
