I have gone by this place several times and thought about pulling over to take a pic of my car. It's in Memphis and I always opted to do it next time I'm in the area. I finally did today. I've seen pics here on the forum with similar backgrounds and thought they looked pretty good. As I pulled away from the place, a tattoo place, I wondered why I haven't seen anyone that had a "tattoo" painted on their car. Then I thought, no one is going to do that to their car......then, well they do it to their body. I've been trying to think of what kind of "tattoo" I might like. So far I haven't came up with anything.

I'm glad you decided to finally pull over and take a photo, that's a nice backdrop.
Thanks
I took several pics that I think would have been better except for a bad glare. They showed the wall much better and I liked the way the car was sitting better. But when you are taking them with an Iphone its hard to tell til you see them on a computer screen.
Cool pics for sure!! Not your run of the mill background as stated! Not a fan of tattoos,,ya gotta think of it's gonna be there forever, and what's it going to look like in 20-30-40 years. Have seen some fat old women & men that have old streched out and faded tats,,,makes me shiver just thinking about it !!!
I've never felt strongly enough about anything in my life to make a permanent statement about it...
My Dad was in the Marines in WW2 and was injured in the Pacific. After a year in the hospital he got out and took a commission in the Army to pay for college under the GI Bill. He spent 6 years with a bandage over the bull dog on his arm.
Thanks

I have a brother in law that was in the Navy. He has a woman's name tattooed on his arm and it isn't my sister. She said it never bothered her but one of his Navy buddies had Sally tattooed on his arm and his 2nd wife made him have it changed to Salty.
Goes threw it's cycle , i myself see nothing wrong with tats .... Intact in my profile pic you will notice I do have a few , I even have a c5 logo ....
I'm still a successful man , having tats has not held me back ...
James......
it seems as if most have missed what I was trying to say when I started this thread. What I was talking about was having something original, that you pick out, painted on your car. Not something huge but much like a tattoo would be on someone's body. It would be a mod that would truly make your car your own. I'm surprised I havne't seen it done.
Anyway, I think most people now days are accepting of tattoos. My own daughters have one. No, I wasn't crazy about it when they first got one but I accept it, much like my parents did when I had long hair back in the day.
But you are probably right, tattoos are kinda like mods, some people will like them and some wont.
