Might be coming back !
Sold my z06 to a guy (now a friend) about 9 months ago ...
COmpletely love my m3 DD.
-bought a 93 lx 5.0 mustang... was supposed to be an easy track build...car turned out to be a ****ing nightmare build. now im in it too much and hate it !
-trying to sell the fox body
-just sold my streetbike
-either going to pick up a c5Z or a 03-04 Terminator cobra eventually for a toy
Question: How much HP can a stock ls6 block handle? im looking to get back into 11s maybe even 10s.
im torn because they are both sick cars ... there both priced around the same and both have similar specs (in some aspects)
I love push rod engines so thats a big plus for the vette.
hmmm decisions decisons...
any of you vette guys ever own or still have an SVT Cobra?
what the highest mileage you would buy at ? It should run 200-300k miles as long as properly maintained right ?

I dont have it any more it was an 08 and a lease. It was a 6MT and it was fun but had no low end tq at all... versus some of the g37x coupes with the AT i drove which seemed quicker lol
but it was a fun car

Get the C5 Z06 and put a centrifugal supercharger on it and you will have 600+ RWHP @ 8-10 PSI of Boost (Safe) and smoke the Cobra all day long!
The LS6 block, heads, cam etc. is way ahead of the LS1 and they can take a beating and a good amount of Boost keep it in the 12 PSI range and you will have 650 RWHP easily!

I looked the book value up 22,500.
I am going to see if he is negotiable and wants to meet me at my boys shop on saturday to check the car out. I am a no BS kinda person dont want to waste anyones time so I will see if he will go down on price before i even inspet it.
But I come thru if car is mint as said and he will do 22,500 i will do deal on spot in cash.
