Mid 70s to early 80s owned the same color combo 72. Bought it off my Grandfather who had bought it new. Did the cam/header/centerlines thing to it. Finally sold it after getting the hots for a Trans Am then Z28 then a, we'll you get the picture. Still would love to get that Buick back. Never saw it again. Think I got $3,500 for it.

Agree. Both totally cool but very different. The GS and Cutlass are personal faves of mine. I like them a good bit more than GTO and Chevelle for some unknown reason, perhaps because the Chevelle and GTO were far more popular in that day.

Congrats on selling the GS. Wish I would have had the money as I would love to have another GS. I sure wish I had kept the '71 GS Stage 1 vert that I had back in 1973-1974.
