What effect does this have on the car itself?? I had a head cam package put in a long time ago and I have been getting the code for the steering wheel position sensor every sense then. I was told it was most likely do to the steering wheel linkage being taken apart during the install and not being put back exactly the same way?? Sounded a bit sketch to me but I have had absolutely no effects on the cars performance from this.
