Default Clutches and flywheels

Looking into getting a new clutch and flywheel, any recommendations on a good set up or which ones to avoid? I used to run Center Force clutches in my mustangs and always loved those, does anyone run one in their Vette? Car is close to stock but possibly looking to upgrade to around 500hp in the future.

I'm having an LS7 clutch installed in my car in 2 weeks. From everything I hear, it's a great fit and can handle some power.

LS7 clutch, pressure plate, flywheel, and LS6 master and slave cylinders. You'll be fine.

cool, thanks guys i assume the best place to get the LS7 stuff is a GMpartswharehouse?

Gene Culley at GMPH has always been very helpful when ever I had questions about ordering anything from him. Prices are very competitive also.

man i dunno... I have and ls7 clutch in my heads/cam Ls1 and she gets hot and slips from time to time.....

I have the monster stage 2 with their AL flywheel and LS6 master. Handles the 450rwhp mine dynoed at like a champ and has never slipped.

i would definitely go with an aluminum flywheel if you go the ls7 route, because the ls7 kit is very heavy.

see that's something else I was wondering, It known that if you drag race you don't want the LS7 clutch kit. Does that mean any drag racing at all? or the occational weekend is ok, just not only for drag racing?
