Is this guy telling you to put the money in an escrow? I think i was almost scammed by this guy. Is his name Terry? He's in Texas but the car is in MA? If it sounds too good to be true it is.
Ran into the same type scam, they wanted my money in a escrow in the chek republic, damn it was so good I almost bit down hard. Came here and asked what's the deal and I felt like such a sucker, lol
Trust me won't matter! Might stop him now but they are smart and just change shjt that quick...
Here you go this has been here at least 3 yrs. and still some how it's still there after me being greedy and getting scammed! Trust me I don't like to admit very poor judgement on my part thinking everyone honest, but if I can help someone else and not let it happen to them! The price actually went up since my mishap!
The car is in Mass, I still haven't gotten any responses from the guy. There is no email, it's kind of like Craigslist were the email is hidden. There was no mention of escrow or anything else. I'm leaving to go to Mass today, not for the car but for a trip I have had planned for 6 months already. I figured if the car was legit this would have added to a great vacation.
I found a 2004 Z06 with under 4k miles for 10 grand. It has no sign of any damage at all. What should this car go for? It's lemans blue with the commemorative edition. I was thinking at least 25k. If it is truly selling for the 10k mark, well I guess I found my first Vette.
Is my wife trying to sell my Z16 again?...if so, that's a misprint, it has 40k miles on it and is listed for $100k...she has problems with zeros
This scam has been around a while. They had a 55 Chevy worth about 50K on a website for $15 K. I, of course, e-mailed and was told that "she was a divorcee and wanted the car gone" She said it was in Alaska and she would pay to have it shipped. By this time I was catching on...... I e-mailed her and told her I was traveling to Alaska for business and could I see it? Never got a response. I think she stole the pictures from a car for sale on E-Bay.
There are no low mileage Z06s for under $10K, only crooks.

Ken
