Custom Camera Mount Options?
Whats up guys, Got a 1/2 mile shootout event coming up the first weekend of June and wanted to get some in car vid footage... I know all about the Gopro's but didnt feel like sheding out that kind of cash since I already have a nice camera that has way better sound quality then the Gopro... Anyways What are you guys doing if anything, I had a few ideas such as getting a harness bar and making a clamp mout to go around it with a flat plate then notching little slots in it and using a velcro strap to hold it in place, I also thought of just mounting it to my helmet with a custom bracket but I doubt Tech will approve of that if they see it... If push comes to shove I will suck it up and purchase a Gopro and stick it to the exterior of the car but I would still like to get some in car footage... Any insight would be great for some ideas and pictures would be awesome... Thanks 
Also its a FRC C5Z not a Coupe so im not really big on the whole stretched Tripod thing that I have seen guys do in the hatches...
