Check out the Aeroforce Interceptor gauge. You will be absolutely amazed at what it will display and do. I am not a vendor here but have been selling and using a dual set in my Lightning for over 7 years and still find it amazingly useful.
You can also go the car-pc route. There is software for windows you can buy that does essentially the same thing as the apps for android. You can see OBDII readings and log them, etc. You can buy double-din car computers that run windows or linux for $500-800.
The only downside is that in C5s you can't get boost, fuel pressure, or air fuel ratio from the OBDII, and those 3 are the parameters that a lot of people would be most interested in seeing. Also, there is a delay in the OBDII readings, by about a second or so. Doesn't sound like a lot, but a 1 second delay makes RPM readings pretty useless.
Also, check out PLX gauges. I'm not a vendor or anything, but I plan on switching my boost and AFR gauge to them. They sell a few different versions, and they're all digital with normal gauge size 2 1/16" round LCD touch screens, and less than 1" thick, so very easy to mount anywhere. They have an OBDII gauge which can read out any OBDII information, as well as boost and wideband AFR gauges which are programmable and interchangeable, etc. Interesting stuff to check out, and they're very good prices for what you get.
