If IIRC, GTi's these days use the I4 2L Turbo (unless it was an R32..they look the same almost) and its not hard to boost them to over 400HP with upgraded ECU/Turbo/IC. He went for roll-on cause front wheel drive does not launch that well.
Long tubes, Street Cam and Tune and you'd walk him....on the Track where it should be done.
Deleting the mufflers does nothing much except **** people off.

almost anything will take a stock vette off the line, after 2nd gear you should be passing them and leaving them in the dust. depending on what your racing of course while your "at the 4 lane white and yellow striped track" lol
