Redline Goods - Leather Console Cover
For those of you who have purchased and installed the leather console cover from Redline Goods how did you go about securing it for a tight smooth finish?
I followed the installation instructions but am disappointed in how loose the cover fits after final installation. After re-installing the screws to secure the upper console to the plastic baseplate I found that the cover is not held tightly in place and pulls itself loose again. The baseplate does not adequately sandwich the overlapping elastic edges of the leather cover.
Has anyone tried gluing it to the OEM console cover prior to screwing the plastic baseplate back on? Or possibly using upholstery staples on the underside of the OEM cover to secure it tightly stretched?
Any tips would be appreciated.

The center console cover from Vette Essentials is held in place with heavy duty staples. That would be the way I would go.
