OK, so I am considering having the center of my HRE's painted Piano black, or Matte Black and leaving the the lips polished... Should I do this or leave them as is... Thanks in advance...
I know Toques' opinion.. so Mark, I don't need your .20 cents...

Flame me if you may, Your ride looks great the way it is, I think the black centers is way too much on a nice Black Vette. The wheels you have now add to the beauty of your Vette.
Mr.Bill
I agree with those who say leave it alone. It's beautiful as it is. But it depends on what you're going for. Black wheels I think add an intimidation factor so it depends upon what you want to project: "Is this a classic beauty or what?"...or...Don't try me, I'll eat your lunch."
Coming from a guy with black rims...I wouldn't do it. Black on polished looks sick. Black on black centers with polished lips looks sick too...but never pop the way full polished does. I'm starting to get tired of the black on silver look with my Z (I had silver lips before and went to all black). I don't think however that I'd ever get quite as tired of the fully polished look. Just my .02c. Then again, I'd love your car with whatever rim setup you go with Brother.
